Strong Women, Strong Bones
This 8-week exercise class for women over the age of 40 is based upon Dr. Miriam Nelson's book, "Strong Women, Strong Bones." You will learn the best exercise program to build bone mass to help prevent or treat osteoporosis. The program will consist of basic, safe exercises using weights while being supervised by trained professionals to ensure proper exercise form and avoid injury. The program will help you to:
- build bone mass thereby preventing osteoporosis
- build muscle mass thereby assisting you in weight loss or maintenance
- improve balance thereby decreasing the risk of falling
- learn an exercise program that you can continue on your own at home after the completion of the course
This class meets for 2 one-hour sessions a week for 8 weeks.

Fee:
$95 per person; $80 HVMA/HPHC discount
Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel 5 days prior to the class, your payment can be applied to the next available class. This will enable us to fill the slot with someone from the waiting list. There will be no refunds issued for cancellation within 5 days of the class.
If we cancel a course due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund and will be notified 3 business days before the course begins.
